• Helmet - each driver must provide their own helmet (helmets are required to meet Australian Standards for Push Bike or Motor Bikes)
• Gloves and strong, sturdy, covered shoes are required
• Long sleeve shirt and long pants
• Knee and elbow pads

Billy Cart Specifications:

• Maximum dimensions 1.2 metres wide x 2 metres long x 1.2 metres high (not including driver height)
• The billy cart must have an adequate steering mechanism
• NO dangerous protrusions
• NO motors, sails, pedals, paddles or any other propulsion device
• Sturdy construction of all billy cart components
• All billy carts must pass a safety check
• There must be a minimum of four wheels on each billy cart.
• ALL participants must complete an entry form prior to taking part in activities.

Rules for the day:

1. Billy carts must commence the race from a standing start. One team member will be required to hold the billy cart.
2. Billy carts must have fixed seating. Entrants must remain seated during the race.
3. A billy cart or driver may be disqualified at any time at the discretion of the Chief Marshall.
4. The Under 11's catergory is for drivers from 6 years to 10 years of age inclusive.
5. The General category is for drivers 11 to 15 years of age.
6. The Weird and Wacky category is for drivers who wish to create a cart that typifies Weird and Wacky.
7. Corporate is for anyone branding their billy carts.
8. All billy carts are to be presented to the marshalling area.
9. All participants enter at their own risk.
